The three mentors On a bright sunny day, on the eve of a special occasion, a successful businessman was delivering a speech and he happened to share insights from his life. The businessman was asked about the mantra of his success to which the gentleman replied that he had 3 mentors in his life, who played major part in his success today. Once he failed in his business and he wanted to give up on everything and just walk away. He left his place for good, he couldn't manage to find a place to sleep even after it was late evening.  On his aimless stroll, he came across a man standing near a house and sought his help. The man told him that he was a thief trying to get away with something and there wasnt anything he could do to help the businessman. The businessman was himself in a pitiable condition and so requested the thief to help him.  Although a thief, being a good man at heart he couldn't ignore the  businessman and so took him to his home and sheltered him

Choose to be the first to break the ice!! Once all the clouds gathered up chatting and realised they were all tired of their routine. And so, all the clouds unanimously decide that they need to take a break. The decision further paved way for the duration of their break : a day? a week? a month? 10 years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was the duration of the break the clouds decided upon.  The word spread quickly. Everyone came to know about the long break of the clouds. The word reached the farmers on land as well. With no choice left, they all retreated from farming and they took a break for 10 years from it as well, as, without rain the farmers didnt have much to do in their farm lands. Recognize , Remember, Reciprocate Once there lived a barber who always offered his services for free to his first customer of the day. His name was Billu. Billu always thank his customers for giving him an opportunity to serve them. One day a florist came to Billu as the first customer, according to Billu's practice he did the service for free to the man and thanked him, the florist was surprised and touched with the gesture of Billu. On the next day morning when Billu reached his shop he found bouquets and flowers with a note saying thank you on it. On the day Billu's first customer was man who has a sweet shop. Bill followed his practice and done the service for free to the man and also thanked him for giving him an opportunity to serve them. The man was surprised with such a nice gesture from Billu. The next morning the man send loafs of bread and a thank you note for Billu. Billu's actions were recognized and remembered, his first customers they reciprocate the act

Value of a penny There was a young boy named Saumitran. He was an extravagant. Saumitran's father was tired of his habits and wanted to fix the situation.  Saumitran's spendthrift ways didnt suit his family's income and financial status. His family made their bread and butter out of baking business.  One day, as usual, the boy asked money from his father to which his father advised him against spending too much. Saumitran was offended by his father's words. The father thought for a while and told Saumitran,  " All i want you to do is to bring me one rupee at the end of the day, everyday." Saumitran was a bit intrigued but he agreed as he believed that 1 rupee a day is not a big thing.  Day one, Saumitran forgot to bring his father the money. However, when his father asked him for the money, he borrowed the one rupee from his mother and give it to his father. The next day he borrowed the money from his brother, then sister and the following days

God swapped a day with a templeboy.. Long ago, there was a boy who worked in a temple as a helper. Everyday he cleaned the deity , the sanctum and sanctorum. He was always amused at how God always was limited to only the Sanctum and he thought that it must be much fun and easy to be so.  One day, in his ignorance, he negotiated and managed to have God agree for a swap between them for a day.  God told the boy only one thing -  "whoever comes to the temple, whatever the person says, you must not speak, you must not do anything".  The   boy agreed and so the swap happened. As agreed, the boy took the place of God and stood there as the statue. A devotee came and thanked god for all the wealth God had bestowed him. Also the devotee sought blessings for the new business he was about to start as a factory. Put forth your best efforts in each of your work. Once there was an elderly carpenter who worked for a million worth construction company. The carpenter had been working with the company for the past 40 years and he was an asset to them. One day, the carpenter let the boss know that he was looking to retiring, as he was getting old for the job.  The owner, had always been very impressed by the carpenter's work and decided to part him with him a nice farewell.  The boss then asked the carpenter to help him finish off a last project which estimated to around 2 months of work. The carpenter gave it a thought and agreed to his boss.  The carpenter started his work but, this time, his work was not as perfect as is used to be. Unconditional  love A young couple lived a happy and contented life. The husband being very ambitious, he wanted to grow in his career, many a times he wanted to approach his boss and discuss with him about a salary hike but, he could never do that as he would lose his courage upon reaching his boss!  The husband always shared this with his wife and she always reassured him that he will achieve it very soon. One day he decided to himself about speaking to his boss about his requirement, and his wife wished him good luck with a happy hug. Winners and losers Once there was a sage who was spending time with his disciples and as he was mentioning about his previous disciples, he said he had both winners and losers among his followers.  One of his disciples seemed confused with this. Make the world a better place In the lap of forest once lived a donkey. On a fine afternoon, after a nice full meal, the donkey was resting underneath a coconut tree. He got nothing to do, so he let himself sink in thoughts, a whole lot of negative thoughts!  He thought, what would happen if the whole world just collapsed? Just as he was thinking....he heard a loud noise!! Upon hearing the noise, the donkey opened his eyes and he saw the rising clouds of dust, and he immediately believed that its the world collapsing exactly as he imagined it. The donkey ran in panic. On his way another donkey saw him running and when asked he informed him about the world that is collapsing. The donkey spread the same word to the monkeys, bears, birds and every living being in the forest. We should work hard and not count on luck We are all well aware of Sir Isaac Newton as the person behind inventing the gravitational force, which was trigerred by the Apple that fell on his head.  Now, lets talk abouthow it all happened. It was back in 1666, because of the Plague out break in England the students from the Cambridge were  also sent home considering their safety, to be in quarantine. Newton in his early 20s, was one among the students. The quarantine period was "annus mirablilis” meaning "year of miracles". It was literally true for Newton as he made use of his time very well. His popular theories about optics were formulated in his quarantine period and so also the big catch – The Gravity.  Sir Isaac Newton didn't stop his work there. He continued to think more and concluded that the gravity is not just something that made the apple fall down on him who stood touching the ground, but, he saw the much bigger picture which he can form

#kutty story 5 Never ending search for something that doesn't exist costs us the happiness of our life Raman & Krishnan were two mischievous classmates and neighbours. One day while the class was going on, Raman noticed a few goats near the school, and that rand a bell in him. Raman said he had a plan to do something which will result in a day off for the school. Krishnan was curious to know about Raman's plan. The school ended for the day and the boys were up executing their plan. Raman said the goats must be moved to the school. Krishnan was curious as to how it will result in a day off for the school..It may buy them some time before the school starts, that should be about it.  Raman said he I was confident about the plan. So, Krishna trusted his friend and followed his path. Once the goats were in the school, Raman revealed the second part of his plan to Krishnan. Raman and krishnan marked the goats with numbers from 1 to 10 but here was the catch -

STORY.4 Dont evaluate yourself from others' point of view Ramu was a troubled young man. Ramu always doubted himself and he often fell victim to others' ill opinions about his actions. One day an acquaintance of him told him about a saint who has arrived in the villlage and the saint might be able to help him in not getting hurt any more. Ramu walked up to to the saint seeking his wisdom. The saint took a moment and handed over the young man a ring with a stone on it and asked him to find the value of it.  Ramu was perturbed, nevertheless, he took the ring to a gold smith around the corner. The gold smith told him the estimated value of the ring. Ramu returned to the saint and told the price offered by the gold smith.  He was then guided by the saint to find its value at a jewellery shop in the town. The Jewellery store offered him a price which was quite higher than what he was offered by the gold smith. Ramu returned to the saint with the quote.  Ramu w

STORY.3 The calendar keeps changing the dates everyday But then One date comes and it changes the calendar Isnt it Once there lived a studious boy who worked as  a delivery boy to pay for his school fees. One day, on his routine to deliver goods and for the young kid he was, he was too tired and hungry. So, he decided to ask for some food from the next house he visits. As soon as he rang the bell he lost his courage to ask for a meal from the young woman who answered the doorbell. Instead, he asked for a glass of water. The woman was kind enough to fetch him a big glass of milk. He drank the milk slowly. The boy asked the woman how much he owed her for the milk. To his great surprise, the woman replied that her mother taught her not to accept pay for kindness. The boy thanked her from his heart.  The milk not only restored his hunger but the faith in good humans too. Years later, the young woman fell sick, so sick that her case was referred to the hospital

STORY .2 Never think You are weak Never judge anyone Once there lived a poor boy named Ram, who badly wanted to pursue his graduation in Engineering.  Ram's desire to be graduated was very strong but  the financial condition of the family wasnt in his favor. These circumstances forced the young chap to work in a basket ball court as a caretaker. Heirs of many big shots enjoyed playing games at the court and the janitor boy was an obvious victim of their nasty jokes. Besides his goal to be graduated, he eventually took interest in the game. He requested the guys who used the facility for a chance to be part of the game but, as expected, disrespect and rejection was the result!! Ram was not aimed for the basket no miracle happened, the ball didn't reach the basket. The gigglings and sarcastic comments couldn't reach anywhere near Ram. Ram asked the guys for some time to practice. They were kind and they gave him time, expecting more misses from him.

He had a tough time at his work place. Everyday, the employee on his way to and from his office, watched the blind beggar. One day he saw the begger with a note saying 'I am Blind'.
