Kutty story #61

World moves on without you: There lived a teacher in a small village. He had a wife, a son who was doing his higher studies and daughter who was ready to get married. He was living a contented life when a thought came to his mind that totally disturbed his peaceful existence.  He suddenly thought that he was the reason the whole family was happy. He felt that things wouldn’t be the same for them in his absence. This thought bred in him and over a few days turned into an ego in himself. One day when he was introspecting himself as a teacher he realized that he had become egoistic but it was already late as the ego had got the better of him already. At around the same time, a yogi arrived in the village and coincidentally he was speaking about controlling ones egos and vices. The yogi said that the world remains the same although many have come and left before this and continue to do so. After the talk, the teacher approached the yogi and confesses to him that hes already suffering with

To love without condition, to talk without intention, to give without reason, to care without expectation; That's the spirit of true love. -    Raj met Krithika at a party. She was so outstanding with many guys chasing her, while Raj was average looking, shy and felt awkward.   At the end of the party, Raj finally summoned some courage to invite krithika to have a coffee with him. She was surprised, but out of politeness, she accepted his invitation to go on a date.   They both sat in a nice coffee shop. Raj was too nervous to say anything while she felt uncomfortable, while both waited for coffee to be served. With Raj being so shy and awkward around her, It seemed like the conversation between them would never start   The coffee was brought and suddenly, Raj asked the waiter. “Would you please get me some salt? I’d like to put it in my coffee!”    Everyone at the cafe stared at him with a strange look! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it.

Kutty story #59

God is within us through our journey of life. The story is about a baby boy who was about to be born into this world. He pleads to God not to send him to earth as it’s very chaotic and deceitful. God convinced him with his soft spoken voice and soft strokes, all about life and death. He tells him its very important for him to be born on earth for a reason. The baby boy finally gives in but asked for a promise from God in return. He asked that God be with him always as he wouldn’t want to go otherwise. So God agrees with a smile. The baby boy asked God “how will I know you are with me when we are on earth as I will not see you”. God replied with a smile “whenever you close your eyes and see you will see two footprints, one will be mine and one will be yours”. So the baby boy was born and life went on as any other baby. He grew into a kid and then into a young man, got settled in life and got really busy with life and its tensions. He had forgotten all about the discussion he had with

Kutty story #58

Our distractions pull us away from reaching our goals. There is a historic temple on a mountain cliff. The priest of the temple passed away and the people were looking for a replacement. They sent a request to a Gurukulam in the town as well asking for a replacement. The Guru called on 5 of his favourite disciples whom he felt might be a good fit for the role. He read out the message to them. He told them “since the requirement is for 1 person, only if you five leave together one of you can reach there on time as you might face lot of hurdles and distractions on your way”. The disciples obliged the Guru although with a slight disbelief that five needed to go together for one to be able to reach there. When they reached the first village, they met rich and accommodating people with excellent environment. When the villagers knew who these young men were, they told them that they need a priest in the temple at their village as well and made an irresistible offer to them as remuneration.
