The grass is always greener on the other side

Once there was farmer who wanted to sell his house and plot. The farmer wanted to start a new life in the city. The farmer arranged for a real estate broker who can possibly help him to achieve his goal. The broker came down to visit the property of the farmer. The broker asked the farmer why he wanted to sell off such an amazing place. The farmer said his house is surrounded with muddy roads and his house oversees a lake which is boring, behind the house is a mountain.
The broker agreed and he assessed the property and left. A few days passed by. The farmer saw an advertisement about a property for sale. The advertisement read ‘ Breathtaking property away from the city; well-blended with nature, it offers an amazing view of a lake from the balcony of the house and mountains in the backdrop add on to the beauty.’
The farmer read through the advertisement again and again and he realized that the advertisement was about his property and realized how beautiful it truly is.
The farmer called up on the broker and asked him to cancel the advertisement, as he no longer wanted to sell the property.
The farmer realized he was living in a great place.

Our desires are neverending, but we must learn to appreciate what we possess.

The life each wished for Once there lived two farmers in a village. The farmers were friends and they worked really hard. They, more or less had the same share of land in the village and eventually with time, both of them died in the same period.  After their death both the farmers were in their after life. God asked both the farmers the same question. The first farmer was asked: how was his life and how could have God made it better for him. The farmer was so annoyed and disgraced with all the hardship he had in his life. The farmer said he had no luxury, he and his family barely had anything to enjoy. They struggled to manage each day. God kept quiet and asked the farmer what he wanted to become in his next life. The farmer wished to be someone who is unquestioned and who people gave money to. God blessed him and granted his desire.  God approached the other farmer with the same question. The farmer said he was really glad with the life God had given him. The farmer thanked ...

While her mother was busy with the household chores, Prerana's uncle who came with chocolates, made her sit on his lap while the little girl ate the chocolate, which went unnoticed by her mother. One day a friend of Prerana saw her sitting on her uncle's lap and she told her about her uncle's actions not being good and that she shouldn't sit on anyone's lap like that. Prerana realized certain things at that moment and she kept herself away from her uncle. She stopped accepting chocolates from him and eventually the uncle stopped visiting.  Prerana's dad passed away when she was only 14. The young teen was forced to work in a coffee shop as a waitress. The world had no mercy even to a young girl. The men visiting the restaurant had their hawk eyes on her. The owner of the dine, a 70 year old man was no dif...
