KUTTY STORY 8

Winners and losers

Once there was a sage who was spending time with his disciples and as he was mentioning about his previous disciples, he said he had both winners and losers among his followers.
One of his disciples seemed confused with this. How can the same Guru have both winners and losers among his followers. The saint explained himself with examples. He explained how a few didn't give any excuse for whatever conditions or circumstances they were going through.
A blind who was never stopped by darkness, a deaf man with no regrets in not being able to hear, a boy who was born in a poor family but didn't sink into poverty, a man who lost all his wealth but not his hope, a boy who was dodged as he was considered being insane, was never held back coming up with flying colors. He said, you all know these individuals.
The blind was none other than Erik Weihenmayer an American athlete, adventurer, author, activist and motivational speaker, was  the first person without eyes to reach the summit of Mount Everest back in 2001. Ludwig van Beethoven the German born was the deaf, the most admired composer in the history of Western music, his compositions were among the most performed in the classical repertoire of the time. He made a prominent name of his own as a composer and as a pianist before he passed away at the age of 56. Indian business tycoon who founded Reliance Industries none other than Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani was one who made his fortune out of scratch. The man who lost all his wealth with the collapse of ABC Ltd is Amitabh Bachchan who went bankrupt and came out of it to his present status. Last but not the least, the cracked child grew up to the world's most popular scientist of all times - Albert Einstein. The only thing that was common among all these personalities was : they never complained or made excuses of the challenges they faced.

Situations or circumstances have nothing to do with the outcome. The effort is the only thing that matters and it will bring glorious results.

STORY.1 It is not necessary that time favours you every time. Sometimes, it teaches a lesson : How to lead a disciplined life through difficulties Once there were two youngsters, one had an office job and the other, being blind, used to beg on the pavement of the office complex where the other worked.  The employee was never appreciated by anyone in his office and so he was demotivated. He had a tough time at his work place. Everyday, the employee on his way to and from his office, watched the blind beggar. One day he saw the begger with a note saying 'I am Blind'. The employee walked up to the begger and made a small change in the note and carried on with his day.  At the end of the day, on his way back from office the employee  was curious to know if his small change in the note made any difference to the beggar. As he neared the place, the begger recognized the employee with his foot steps and said  " I understand you are the one who cam...

World moves on without you: There lived a teacher in a small village. He had a wife, a son who was doing his higher studies and daughter who was ready to get married. He was living a contented life when a thought came to his mind that totally disturbed his peaceful existence.  He suddenly thought that he was the reason the whole family was happy. He felt that things wouldn’t be the same for them in his absence. This thought bred in him and over a few days turned into an ego in himself. One day when he was introspecting himself as a teacher he realized that he had become egoistic but it was already late as the ego had got the better of him already. At around the same time, a yogi arrived in the village and coincidentally he was speaking about controlling ones egos and vices. The yogi said that the world remains the same although many have come and left before this and continue to do so. After the talk, the teacher approached the yogi and confesses to him that hes already suffering w...
