Don't take your parents for granted

Raghu was a family man who was married to a nice woman and they had two kids. Raghu's parents were nice people as well. All of a sudden Raghu's mother passed away. Raghu and his father eventually had disagreements on many things and one day the argument raised really high and Raghu spoke about how much his wife suffered because of his dad. As Raghu's dad was home, his wife had to do all the house chores by herself, she had to remain in a traditional attire which caused her a lot of discomfort. She had to follow the tradition and all the rituals of the family, she was unable to live a modern life as per her wish. So Raghu wanted his dad to move out of the house to the garage.

Raghu's dad, at his age, the old man didn't want another argument over it and so he did as he was asked by his son. Raghu's father moved to the garage and a few days passed by. Raghu's dad rang the doorbell and Raghu thought he was going to have another nasty argument with his father. Still he opened the door and let his dad come in. Dad had some vouchers with him. The vouchers were for Raghu, his wife and children for a 10 days long vacation in a foreign land. The father told his son that he should take a break with his family after his mother's death. They have not been enjoying their life and they need a break from the current situations.

Raghu spoke to his wife about it and she was happy to accept it. Raghu, his wife and children went for 10 days. The father had some plans at the back of his mind. He sold the house for a lump sum amount and he bought a nice place for himself, he also rented out an apartment and shifted his son's belongings there.

After 10 days time Raghu returned and he found his house locked and guarded by a security guard. Raghu tried to get in, the security stopped him. Raghu asked about his father and the security said he would make a phone call to Raghu's father, because the guard was asked by Raghu's father to call him when Raghu came looking for him. Raghu said why should the security guy do that, Raghu himself will call. Raghu tried to ring his dad but the phone number wasn't reachable. Raghu wondered what happened, the security guard said Raghu's father had a new contact number now. The guard called and Raghu's father answered the call and he quickly showed up at the scene in a car. Raghu didnt have a clue about what was going on.

Raghu's father said he had rented out an apartment where all the belongings of Raghu had been shifted to and the rent for a year is paid so Raghu can move in there. Your family can live the way you all want; do not disturb me. Raghu asked where his father will live. The father didn't hesitate; he said he had bought a nice house for himself and he will live there. The father concluded his talk and left.

Parents are always the givers don't push them to the limits where they are forced to be the takers

He took his piggy bank and pulled out all the money he had saved, which was roughly 1000 rupees. Kuttoos sneaked out of the house with the money and went to a pet shop. The shop had puppies at quite a high price. Kuttoos approached the owner of the shop and told him about his savings and his determined to have a puppy. The owner told him that the puppies in the shop are too expensive and the boy will not be able to afford them. The boy walked along side of the owner and was watching the puppies in each of the kennel and he happened to notice one puppy among all.  When all the puppies were running and playing around, this one wasn't moving. Saumitran was offended by his father's words. The father thought for a while and told Saumitran,  " All i want you to do is to bring me one rupee at the end of the day, everyday." Saumitran was a bit intrigued but he agreed as he believed that 1 rupee a day is not a big thing.  Day one, Saumitran forgot to bring his father the money. However, when his father asked him for the money, he borrowed the one rupee from his mother and give it to his father.
