Motherhood is a blessing

Rechu and Ram were married for a very long time. The couple were around 45 years old, without kids and the couple were sad about it. One day Rechu was invited for a kitty party and she reached there a bit early. Her friends had not yet reached but she found another lady waiting in a corner. Rechu being a chatterbox, she quickly made friends with the other lady. The other lady was Sandhya. As their conversation progressed, Sandhya asked Rechu if she was interested to see her daughter. Sandhya showed Rechu the photo of a beautiful 2 year old girl and the little bundle of joy was so adorable. The little girl looked nothing like Sandhya so Rechu had her thoughts. Sandhya quickly asked Rechu how many kids she had. Rechu's eyes quickly filled with tears and Rechu shared her tale. Sandhya held Rechu's hand and told her that Sandhya was 50 when she adopted her daughter and it's never too late.

Rechu found a new ray of hope in her life. Rechu and her husband started their paperwork and they waited for 20 months. Finally Rechu got a baby, a cute little angel, adopted. The whole family of Rechu and her husband were impatiently waiting for the little one to be with them at their home. As soon as Rechu brought her baby doll home she dropped a message to Sandhya with a photo of her girl “Khushi”, which means happiness.

Sandhya was really overwhelmed to hear from Rechu after a long period and she was sincerely happy for Rechu. Sandhya replied with a text message congratulating Rechu and wished her an amazing adventure with her little girl.

Kutty story #59

God is within us through our journey of life. The story is about a baby boy who was about to be born into this world. He pleads to God not to send him to earth as it’s very chaotic and deceitful. God convinced him with his soft spoken voice and soft strokes, all about life and death. He tells him its very important for him to be born on earth for a reason. The baby boy finally gives in but asked for a promise from God in return. He asked that God be with him always as he wouldn’t want to go otherwise. So God agrees with a smile. The baby boy asked God “how will I know you are with me when we are on earth as I will not see you”. God replied with a smile “whenever you close your eyes and see you will see two footprints, one will be mine and one will be yours”. So the baby boy was born and life went on as any other baby. He grew into a kid and then into a young man, got settled in life and got really busy with life and its tensions. He had forgotten all about the discussion he had with

All the three brothers were really excited to welcome their mother home and take care of her. They were happy to see her. Eventually the excitement among the brothers and their family seemed to be lost somewhere. The children were not that happy to see their mother. The mother began to feel the pain of this.  One day she had a friend visit her. The mother broke down into tears and the friend embraced her and gave her a suggestion.  The mother returned to one of her sons with a jewellery box. The son and his family were curious to know what was within the box and they asked her. The mother said the box was very precious and that the box should be opened only after her death. The son passed the information to his other two brothers. All three sons and their wi

The bond Sudhama and Lord Srikrishna were great friends. Both of them were good friends since their days at Sandeepani Saints Ashram as disciples. The students were supposed to follow the instructions by the Saint also they were all supposed to help the master's wife by collecting wood for household purposes. The boys were in charge for collecting flowers for Pooja and wood for cooking.  One day it was ekadashi (the day for fasting) the wife of the master had kept two hands full of dry fruits for Sudhama and Lord Srikrishna as they had to go to the forest. Since it was the day of fasting the students were not allowed to go to the street seeking food from the villagers. However another sage walked into Sandeepani's ashram and asked for food. Sandeepani's wife politely replied they have not cooked anything as it is ekadashi and there is no food in her kitchen to spare for the sage. The sage meditated for a moment and with his inner eye he could see the two hand full of dry fr
