Unconditional Love

This is the story of Rahul and Ramini. Ramini literally means beautiful. Rahul used to travel by train and sit by the window seat and he longed for a glimpse of Ramini, at her balcony or may be outside her house. When Ramini walked with her high heels on, Rahul's rhythm of Lub-dub was always raised. Ramini always showed up at work in traditional attire. Rahul always knew when she was around. Her jhumka, big bindi, her neatly tied hair, her nose pin of ruby stone, her bangles; It was like a cart procession at the Thanjavur temple. Rahul noticed everything about her. Whenever she passed by Rahul felt like 1000s of violins were played in his head. Rahul used to keep something for her at her desk like chocolates or cards. Once Ramini found a letter among her official file which read as 143 meaning 'I love you'. 

Ramini got really annoyed and she shouted in the office that whoever has kept the letter in the official file should have the guts to talk to her father. When Ramini was so annoyed and her head moved her hair loosened up and it was so long, thick and black. Rahul couldn't resist or hold back his love; he fell for her even more on seeing her beautiful hair. Next day Rahul decided to go and talk to Ramini's father. Upon reaching Ramini's home Rahul was shivering from head to toe. Ramini's father was watching  while Rahul was building up some courage. 

Before he could say anything, the telephone rang and her father answered the call. The call was from the hospital breaking the news of a major accident Ramini had just met with. Rahul along with Ramini's father went to the hospital. The doctors in great pain disclosed that Ramini will not be able to remember anything from her past as she had lost all her memories and she will continue to be paralysed for the rest of her life. Ramini's friends, family and everyone visited her and stayed sad for a long time. 

Eventually everyone stopped visiting Ramini but Rahul visited her everyday without fail. He used to joke and try his best to keep her happy but Ramini hasn't ever reacted to anything. Ramini's father slowly realised Rahul's love for his daughter is so deep and true. After a year Rahul showed up as usual but he had her favorite flowers with him and he proposed to her. Ramini who had not reacted at all in the past one year moved her finger at this moment. 

Rahul got married to Ramini and in the three years of their marriage. Rahul does everything for her, he used to make sure she remains how she used to be with tied hair, big bindi, bangles. Sessions with Speech therapist, physiotherapist in the three years had brought with it some changes to Ramini. 

One day when Rahul kissed her on her forehead before he left for work Ramini with a kajal stick wrote 143 on his hand “I Love You”

The life each wished for Once there lived two farmers in a village. The farmers were friends and they worked really hard. They, more or less had the same share of land in the village and eventually with time, both of them died in the same period.  After their death both the farmers were in their after life.
